Assemblies are created in S2K when 2 or more items need to be linked to each other in the system. This is referred to as a ‘Parent/Child Relationship’. The Parent is always the bigger of the 2 (or more) quantities.
EXAMPLE: Hot Dog Combo PLU 200 includes: Hotdog PLU 4055 and Fountain Drink PLU 6055
You can buy or sell either unit, but inventory count will only be carried on the smallest unit. When bought or sold the parent will be converted to the child automatically in S2K.
NOTE: You can only create assemblies for local flex items. Some assemblies have already been created for core items from HQ, they cannot be edited.
