1. Client to e-mail completed Debit Authorization Form. Once received, S2k will process debit for the invoice amount.
2. Client to complete New Client Form for each station. S2k must have these forms prior to Step 3.
3. S2k will build PC’s, if ordered, and prepare and ship all hardware to client. S2k will e-mail client with tracking numbers on shipment.
4. If existing PC’s are being used, the following are the PC requirements:
a. Min 2 G RAM
b. XP, Vista or Windows 7 operating system
c. High speed internet
d. Minimum requirements for internet speed are 2.0 mbps download and 1.0 mbps upload, and the ping needs to be below 250.

NUCLEUS, PASSPORT:
a. Additional Network (NIC) card for connection to the Nucleus
b. Cat5 cable needed to connect PC to POS/POS router
RUBY:
a. 9-pin Serial port to connect to Ruby
b. Null Modem adapter (must be provided by Verifone as it is specially wired, we do sell them if your tech does not have one for you) plugs into Serial port on PC and then network (Cat5) cable runs to the PC.
RUBY SAPPHIRE:
a. Need an additional Network (NIC) Card and Cat5 cable to connect to Sapphire.
GSITE:
a. 9-pin Serial port to connect to Gsite
b. Gender Bender adapter (must be provided by Gilbarco as it is specially wired, we do sell them if your tech does not have one for you) plugs into Serial port on PC and then network (Cat5) cable runs to the PC.
c. XP Operating system ONLY, Vista and Windows 7 do not work with the Gsite programs used to communicate. We do sell PCs with XP if you need it.
COMDATA:
a. Additional Network (NIC) card for connection to the Nucleus.
NOTE: S2k cannot poll data if PC is logged off or hibernating. Please make sure PC is connect and always running.
5. The PC’s you purchased will have S2k and Logmein installed. Please add any PC that requires S2k to the Logmein account we have created for you using these instructions:
a. Go to www.logmein.com
b. Enter email and password in the top right of the screen. (Email will be Company name@series2k.com. Password will be $ followed by the first 3 letters of the company name followed by 987456321$.)
c. Click on the blue “add computer” button in the middle of the page.
d. Select “Install LogMeIn Free on this computer” (not free trial but free “version” bubble) then follow install instructions clicking “accept”, “next”, “I agree” etc. when prompted.
e. When asked to name the PC use a name that will let us know easily which PC it is you are installing.
f. If asked for “computer access code” please use 12345678, if you use a different pw, please let us know.
g. If the PC has its own windows username and password please let us know. We will not be able to access your PC without this information.
6. PC needs to be connected to the POS.
a. Nucleus
b. G-site
c. Ruby/Sapphire/Topaz
d. Passport
e. Comdata
7. Email or call us at 623-266-3600 to check connections and start setup and install
8. Confirmation from S2k of setup complete or issues that need to be addressed.
