We always want to give S2k customers simply the best most advanced features but we need to be sure that we are not exposing you or us in this endeavor. Now the legal stuff is out the way here is how it works…
In S2k there is a new feature found on the Systems and Security page called ‘POS Fuel Price Monitor’. Currently, the only POS able to change fuel prices from S2k are Verifone Rubys due to the information that is allowed by the POS to be exported and imported.
This option will bring up the following screen with all the stations latest prices as shown below:
You can select any station from the drop down list. To change a price click on the green area and put the new price for all the grades that you want to change:
You can copy and paste from the first change to all the affected prices to limit typing errors.
Once this is done, click on the “Update Fuel Prices on POS” and S2k will send the prices and process the data to the POS and then repoll the POS to make certain that the new prices have taken affect. This process will not normally take more than a few minutes from start to finish. You can monitor this on the S2k Client as well.
