If you open S2K Client, and the text on the title bar reads “FORM1” as shown in the screen below then follow the instructions below.
1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del, then locate S2K.Client.v2.exe and end the process.
2. Go to the following directory: C:\Documents and Settings\<current user>\Local Settings\Apps
3. Then delete the “2.0” folder
4. Go to
the following directory: C:\WINDOWS\system32
Then re-name the settings.xml
file to settings<today’s date>.xml
5. Go to
“Add/Remove Programs” in the Control Panel, and remove Series2000 POS Client

Select “Restore this Application to it’s Previous State”, then hit
OK

Reinstall S2K Client from the following website: http://www.cstoreusa.com/s2kclient/publish.htm
All of your previous S2K Client settings will be lost, so please RESET all the settings on the client.
