Troubleshooting Menu for S2k

Form1 Error on Client

 

Problem: 

If you open S2K Client, and the text on the title bar reads “FORM1” as shown in the screen below then follow the instructions below.

Solution:

 

1.  Press Ctrl+Alt+Del, then locate S2K.Client.v2.exe and end the process.

 

2.  Go to the following directory:  C:\Documents and Settings\<current user>\Local Settings\Apps

3.  Then delete the “2.0” folder

 

4.  Go to the following directory: C:\WINDOWS\system32
Then re-name the settings.xml file to settings<today’s date>.xml

5.  Go to “Add/Remove Programs” in the Control Panel, and remove Series2000 POS Client v2
Select “Restore this Application to it’s Previous State”, then hit OK

6.  Reinstall S2K Client from the following website: http://www.cstoreusa.com/s2kclient/publish.htm

All of your previous S2K Client settings will be lost, so please RESET all the settings on the client.
