QB Online Connection Process

As soon as you click on the Sync NOW button S2k will try to establish connection to QB Online. If you have not correctly installed the SDK then you will get an error in the S2k program. If that is the case please copy this error and email to help@series2k.com. This is the usual error you will see:

Always use “All Accounting “in this option and click continue:

Now you will be given a “Connection Key”. This connection key will change each time you sign in and try to connect to QB Online. However it will remain active for a period of time so you can copy and paste a number of times before it expires. Then click continue.

ConnectionCopyandPaste

Click Allow access

ConnectionAllowAccess

And you should get a “Congratulations” message. You have now successfully connected this PC to QB Online. Remember this only applies to this PC and this QB Online.

Then paste the connection ticket as shown below:

S2k should now start to communicate with your QB Online and the progress is clearly shown in the S2k progress window.

Each time a new S2k to QB process is started from S2k the Session ticket will need to be re pasted. To do this simply use the right click of the mouse or use Control V. If the session has expired simply start the Login to QuickBooks process again from the above screen and you will be issued with a new Session Ticket.
